For one night only, The Night Carnival will descend upon Milwaukee from the Floating City for an evening of surreal, immersive theater hosted by Teatro di Affetto.

On September 14th, Riverwest’s Garden Park will be transformed into a whimsical living stage where costumed performers and interactive set pieces will transport visitors to a magical land of enchantment, mysticism, and merriment.

Emerging from the Floating City, a menagerie of clockwork beasts gain sentience, alchemists and time-shifting mystics practice their arts, and bewildering future creatures make their lives.

Enjoy dazzling fire dancing performances by Sisters of the Eclipse, a burlesque show, a parade that YOU are invited to be in led by the VoodooHoney Brass band, interactive scavenger hunts, and a beer garden featuring local breweries, distilleries, and specialty cocktails.

While The Night Carnival is family friendly, be advised that there are mature elements after 10pm. Parents are encouraged to read Night Carnival books before giving them to their children, to assure there are no content surprises.

Teatro di Affetto and The Night Carnival embrace radical vulnerability, create magic in an ordinary world, and inspire audiences to embody resistance and enact liberation.
